Community theatre is truly all about community. High Tide could not exist without the support and dedication of our volunteers, from the actors on stage and the crew working behind the scenes to the costume sewers, set-builders, technicians, and even the Board of Directors!
Utilizing the talents of each one of our volunteers, High Tide provides a variety of opportunities for involvement. We are always looking for new and enthusiastic volunteers to add to our crew! There is room for any level of experience; we truly have a place for everyone, and if you have the desire to be involved, we can teach you what you need to know!
Volunteering at High Tide is an excellent opportunity to support local community theatre, and a great way for people of any age to experience how the magic of theatre is created. There are countless ways to be a part of your community theatre and we’d love for you to be a part of the stories we’re telling!
Volunteer Opportunities
Front Of House
Our front of house volunteer opportunities include check-in, ushering, concessions, and merch stand. All front of house volunteers are also invited to see the show for free if there is an available seat!
Set Construction
Our set design crew is always looking for volunteers to help build and paint sets for the upcoming shows! If you can use a hammer and a screw gun, we could use you. Prior experience is not necessary but is always helpful!
Costumes & Makeup
Do you love to sew? Are you awesome at making creative hair or have crazy awesome makeup skills? We need you! Whether you are a skilled taylor or only know how to sew on a button, there are opportunities for you.
Backstage & Props
Come work backstage on our tech crew! Help us make the magic happen behind the scenes. All experience levels welcome — we’ll find a job for you!
